May 08, 2007 Frequent Lag spikes - Shaw Support For the past week I have been having terrible lag spikes while playing games. A router reset will fix the problem for about 30 min, but the problem will always return. Every few minutes A lag spike happens, will be unable to do anything for about 10 sec, usually getting disconnected. The problem occurs with multiple applications. Constant lag spikes in Pro-Am : NBA2k In order to improve my internet connection for neighborhood I changed from Wi-Fi to Ethernet connection on my XBOX One. However, since making the switch, Pro-Am has become UNPLAYABLE. I can’t go 15 seconds without lagging/freezing. This isn’t a one-time issue.
